Possibly.

BTW, Civilization Beyond Earth is offered for a free full-game trial on steam for the next 2 days. If you want to play against me in that game instead, that is fine too. I will probably buy the game for myself on Sunday.

I pretty much lost 2 games and almost won a third game (all on the second-easiest difficulty) but I ran out of time. I played as Space Asia for the 2 games I lost and as Space Russia on the game I almost won. That last game was difficult because Space Brazil settled near me and then declared war on me because our borders were nearby (and it was his fault). I never attacked his cities but I had to change strategies a couple of times to defend my geothermal powerhouse (which also had petroleum and basic resources) from his attacks (by going back 2 autosaves and protecting myself from his attacks that would have otherwise ended up with him taking my city). I gave up 2 minutes before the time ran out because he took my city 100 or so turns later (I have the game set to the largest map for the second longest time for this last one).

I just won a Marathon speed, large, lush Terran map game as PAC (Space Asia) with the Promised Land victory. I built most wonders and researched most technologies. The final affinity points when I won were 18 Purity, 14 Supremacy, 8 Harmony. I delayed my victory by almost 20 turns by telling the earthling settlers to do nothing so I could research more, build more, grow more population, and cover all my areas not already covered by other satellites with solar collectors. If I could continue that game in Sid Meier's Starships with that planet as my base, I would buy Starships as well.

Was there a new content released recently for BE?

No new content has been added to Civilization Beyond Earth but there is an upcoming expansion pack called Rising Tide and a standalone game which can connect with Beyond Earth called Sid Meier's Starships. The reason I have been playing so much is because I finally purchased the game thanks to the Steam Summer Sale.

I started making a mod for Civilization V. I don't know when it will be completed because I am taking 5 classes this semester, all of which require a lot of math.

Civiliation 6 has been announced and it seems rich, detailed, and complex and looks cartoonish.

Civilization VI has received mixed reviews but critics agree it is better than Civ V was upon release.
